If you can not make it to one of these locations you can still take a workshop of Michael's. Michael is offering one day or multiple day workshops and he will travel to your location. "I am pleased to recommend Michael Farrar as an art teacher. I have been taking drawing, oil, and watercolor painting classes from Micheael for three years. He is an accomplished artist and his love for art is contagious. Michael has a gift for working with all levels of students and has aided them to believe they are artist in their own. Micheal beings each class with a demonstration of a new skill and ends each class with an assignment of homework and an inquiry of problems or questions they may be having with their art. -- Carol L.
"My watercolor painting has improved greatly since I began taking watercolor classes from Micheal Farrar, which I've done for several years. He encourages freedom of expression while offering advice on technical skill, composition, color mixing, and general painting development. He demonstrates various methods during class time and often layers those demonstrations into complete paintings over time so that students can watch the construction process." -- Katherine H.
"I recently began painting and was looking for an instructor who would work with me because I had no formal art training. Michael has been very patient and informative and I truly enjoy his classes." -- Vaunda L.
"For the past six years I have taken classes with Michael Farrar. He has always been patient and encouraging of my attempts and willing to offer positive feedback. I feel like I have learned much about composition, values, and coloring mixing. Painting is a relaxing hobby for me, and I appreciate Micheal's help in achieving my objectives." -- Libby D.
"In addition to being knowledgeable and helpful, Michael is flexible, endlessly patient and good-humored. Not only do I learn and improve in every class, but I enjoy the process." -- Jacqueline E.
